“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
– Ephesians 2:10
The enemy’s goal is to rob you of your purpose, your nakedness, your vulnerability — to rob you of being truly you around others. God’s goal — through the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ — is to remove shame, fear, pretending. He wants you to be belovedly you. He wants you to act like a loved child of God and to lean into your flaws and imperfections and say, in spite of all those things, I am going to work for God’s purpose to the redemption and the good work of his creation.
Enable me, God, to embrace my flaws and to do good work for you.
What are your imperfections?
