Pastor Bobby concludes a four-sermon message series called “Winning the Worry War.” We all have things in life that cause us to worry, but the two common worries are money and health. Spending time with God will take away your worry! Today’s message: “Becoming Anti-Fragile.”

Our interview guest is Rev. Andy Bales, the CEO of Union Rescue Mission in LA. His life’s work is to serve his “friends experiencing homelessness,” while working to eradicate the epidemic of homelessness in the LA county. Several years ago, he contracted an aggressive infection while working on Skid Row, a main congregating point for LA’s homeless population. The infection took his leg. Nine weeks later, he was back out on Skid Row working with the people. Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir, with soloist Samuel Capella, performs “True Light” (comp: Keith Hampton). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the piano.

  1. Joyce Bolhuis says:

I can only get the podcast of this weeks service on the intended date. The “watch” is only a blank with no picture to start the program. Last week was the same, but now it is available. Are there any fixes for this? I love the music too. Thanks

  2. Me says:

Ok people. I truly look forward each Sunday to the message that you bring. But can’t find you in my phone just your podcast. I would like to see the hole service not to listen to the membership

  3. Trying to watch the service. Doesn’t come up only the podcast. What’s happened why can’t i see the recorded service

  4. Pam Statom says:

Why is the episode not playing the full service, and only offering a podcast?

  5. Lisa Kurth says:

I cannot watch the full episode, since your portal is only allowing the Podcast to be accessed for this week’s episode. Can you please address this technical glitch ASAP?

Thanks! I look forward to watching EVERY Sunday.

  6. Here is a poem by Alexis Rose that fits this message of anti fragile. https://atribeuntangled.com/2018/11/10/fearless-butterfly/
