From the Desk of: Executive Pastor Chad Blake

I am incredibly honored to serve as the Executive Pastor of Shepherd’s Grove and to be a part of an international ministry through Hour of Power with Bobby Schuller. As the Executive Pastor, I have the privilege of serving the local church by overseeing all of the pastors, ministries, and activities of the church. There is a lot that goes on in a church our size, so I am so thankful for my great team – I couldn’t do it without them.  I truly work with the best people. My journey to Shepherd’s Grove began about six years ago, when I first met Bobby at The Gathering, his church plant at the time. We quickly became friends. Be Belovedly You

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”  – Ephesians 2:10 The enemy’s goal is to rob you of your purpose, your nakedness, your vulnerability — to rob you of being truly you around others. God’s goal — through the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ — is to remove shame, fear, pretending. He wants you to be belovedly you. He wants you to act like a loved child of God and to lean into your flaws and imperfections and say, in spite of all those things, I am going to work for God’s purpose to the redemption and the good work of his creation. Prayer Enable me, God, to embrace my flaws and to do good work for you. Reflection What are your imperfections?
