Pop Your Bubbles
“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” – 2 Timothy 4:3 We, as human beings, can easily fall into bubbles. It is such human nature, isn’t it? When you read that sentence, you probably thought of all the other people that hear the things their itching ears want to hear. We don’t realize the political, religious, national, cultural and other bubbles that we are in, and the ways we only want to hear the things we want to hear. But: He who desires knowledge above comfort will become wise; those who have ears to hear let them hear. The things you don’t want to hear, are the best things you can hear sometimes.
