“For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” – Romans 1:17 For the believer, our goal is to have faith. To believe that what the Scriptures say about God’s love is true, and to build our lives in response to the true deep conviction of that fact. If we do that, we will inherit all we ever wanted and all we ever needed. I’m convinced, you see, that shame always leads to sin, and confidence in God’s love always leads to righteousness. Always.
