Receiving Hospitality

“Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.” – Titus 1:8 To be on the receiving end of hospitality is a great thing. If you’ve ever received hospitality from a great waiter, from your grandma, or maybe from a dear friend who you’re visiting out of town and they give you the best everything, they care for you, and they take you out, and it’s a great place to be. Hospitality is a practical way to tell someone that they are not alone in the universe, that they matter to you, and they are my guest and under my protection and care. Wow. And that is what we, as happy and whole students of Jesus, are supposed to be. We are supposed to be hospitable, especially to the “least of these.” Prayer Thank you, God, for the hospitality of people
