On Earth as it is in Heaven
“This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” – Matthew 6:9,10 I believe we should be hopeful people who proclaim and live the Kingdom of Heaven everywhere we go and not just as something we look forward to when we die. There’s a reason Jesus teaches us to pray the phrase “on earth as it is in Heaven.” How many times have you said those words but not really heard them? Have you considered what it means for all the goodness of Heaven to come to this world? On earth, in your city, in your church, on your job, in your family…as it is in Heaven.
