In God’s Eyes

“He said to them, ‘You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight’.” – Luke 15:16 When we talk about The Creed of the Beloved, I might start by saying that in God’s eyes, I’m not what I do, I’m not what I have and I’m not what people say about me. It’s important for us to remember this, because what God sees and what He knows is what’s true. If I see something and God sees something else, what He sees is more accurate. The reality is that He loves us just as we are, not as we should be. Religious elites may have told you that once you get your spiritual report card right, then you can go to church and be a Christian. Forget that. Let it go! God loves
