Don’t Serve the Clock

“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.” – Hebrews 4:9-11 What thoughts cross your mind when you think about a clock? If you’re like me, they’re probably negative, especially if it’s an alarm clock. Clocks tend to evoke feelings like, I don’t have enough time, I’m running out of time, or I’m getting older. There’s a reason the grim reaper holds an hourglass in his hand.
