You Can’t Serve Two Masters

“One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. Looking this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.” – Exodus 2:11,12 Yesterday, we remembered how Moses was born into an Egyptian regime that declared that every Hebrew baby boy should be killed, and we looked at how he was miraculously saved and adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter. Today, I want to share a few thoughts on how his upbringing might have influenced the leader of God’s people.  When I look at the story of Moses, it’s fascinating to me that he literally grew up in two different worlds.
