The Blessing of Your Birthright

“If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” – Galatians 3:29 When you became a Christian, you received a birthright. As a child of God, born again into His family, you were made an heir of not just a few blessings, but of a double portion. When Jesus went to the cross, He paid the ultimate price so that you could enjoy a heaping helping of the fullness of His Kingdom here on earth.  In the Old Testament, the word for birthright was bekorah, and in the Hebrew culture, it belonged to the oldest son in each family.
