Teach Your Children Well

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” – Ephesians 6:4 We learned yesterday about the tradition of Orthodox Jewish children memorizing the first five books of the Bible, also known as the Torah. Today, I want to point out how that practice is proof of just how much the Hebrew culture values and treasures their children.  When we have kids, we love them tremendously and want the very best for them. As Christians, this typically means that we desire for them to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to know His Word and His ways.
