God With Us
“’The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’).” – Matthew 1:23 It’s hard to imagine, but it’s December 1st and that means that Christmas is right around the corner. For the days leading up to the holiday, I encourage you to set aside a brief time each morning to be still and ponder the true meaning of the season. I pray these devotions will be helpful as you keep your eyes fixed on the One around whom this time of year truly revolves. If you’re anything like me, I tend to be way busier than usual during the holidays; yet these are the hours and days in which I should be most keenly aware of the Prince of Peace and His living presence in my life.
