Just Another Day

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 Tomorrow is Easter, and though it’s going to look a little bit different this year, I pray you can press into the slower pace, quiet your heart, and reflect on the immensity of what Jesus did on the cross. Today, Saturday, represents the time in which our Lord was in the grave. Having given up His Spirit unto death, He was laid in the tomb and somber disappointment covered the land. On the days “in-between,” things looked dark and hope seemed all but lost. To His earthly followers, Jesus was the embodiment of something different; a new way of life and a physical manifestation of divine goodness in their midst.
