The Pearls of Patience

“We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” – Hebrews 6:20 The dictionary defines patience as “the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.” I don’t know about you, but most of the time I fall short of that description, especially in what has grown to be a very long and drawn-out period of quarantine. Yet patience is a Biblical virtue and it provides evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives (Galatians 5:22). For Scriptural inspiration on this subject, there are several characters I look to, but one of my favorites is Moses.
