A Pure Heart
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” – Psalm 51:10 Have you ever been told that you have a pure heart? If so, I’m proud of you. That said, have you ever wondered what that really means? In looking at Scripture, I believe one of the most important aspects of having a pure heart is that you’re faithful to the little things God has entrusted to you. It means that you look at what you have already before searching for more, and you train yourself to see what’s left instead of what you’ve lost. Many people have big dreams and aspirations (which is wonderful), but because they are so eager to get ahead, they lose sight of finding peace and contentment in the place where they currently are.
