Cleanse Your Hands

“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.” – Psalm 24:3,4 For the past couple of days, we’ve looked at two elements of the ancient Jewish cleansing rite called Mikveh, which was the act of physically washing the body in preparation for worship. So far, we’ve talked about having a clean mind and a clean heart. Today, I want to look at the third part of the ritual — cleansing the hands.
