Cleanse Your Feet

“Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it.” – Exodus 30:19 For the past three days, we’ve talked about Mikveh, the ancient cleansing ritual practiced by the Israelites before entering a place of worship, and we’ve looked at how it applies to our lives as believers today. So far, we’ve learned that the Jews would wash their head, their chest, and their hands, and today, I want to teach you about the fourth and final part of this pre-worship rite, which was washing the feet. Though this seems a little strange in a modern context, in Biblical times, feet represented a person’s divine mission and destiny.
