When Freedom Feels Foreign

“The Lord was very angry with your ancestors. Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” – Zechariah 1:2,3 For the next few days, I want to share with you a bit about the Israelites and their relationship with the Lord after they returned from exile in Babylon. I believe this story is especially important because of what it teaches us about priorities in the Kingdom of God, in particular as we emerge from wilderness seasons.
