The Simple Gift of Being Noticed

“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” – 1 Peter 3:8 I recently heard an incredible TED Talk by a man named Aaron Stark. When he was a teenager, he was on the verge of becoming a school shooter. Growing up with two parents who were drug dealers and were constantly on the run, he was enrolled in at least 40 different schools in a period of just a few years. After a while, he stopped trying to make friends because he knew he would have to leave them, and he became a loner. When he was 16, he was scared, hungry, and at the end of his rope, so he called social services and they came and picked him up.
