Is Hurry Eroding Your Life?
“Desire without knowledge is not good— how much more will hasty feet miss the way! ” – Proverbs 19:2 When we hurry through life, it makes us blind to the things that could use a little extra attention. Hurry also comes from a posture of importance, as in, “Whatever I’m doing now, is much more important than what I should be doing. I don’t have time for that — it can wait.” Guess what, we’ve all been there. Unfortunately, this is the modern world we live in. Hurrying is eroding your life. If you think life is going by you fast, it’s because you’re hurrying through it. We can’t love the people near us if we’re in a hurry. Rushing doesn’t make you faster, it makes you clumsy, sloppy, and inconsiderate. When we’re in a hurry, we can’t see or hear with clarity. We will miss people who need someone
