God’s Delays Are Not God’s Denials
“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay. And, But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” – Hebrews 10:36-38 Today we conclude our discussion of the woman of great faith found in Matthew Chapter 15. My final observation — and my grandfather Dr. Schuller said it best — “God’s delays are not God’s denials,” and this is a great statement of faith! As we shared previously: Jesus is in Phoenicia, and this woman keeps yelling out repeatedly, “Lord, heal my daughter!” And what does He say? Not a word, until His disciples said, “Tell her to go away,” as they felt annoyed and harassed by her cries for help.
