 The Perfect Gift   Have you ever been so excited to give someone you love a special gift that you can barely contain yourself? You are literally one conversation short of blurting it out? Without a doubt, those are the best gifts to give, aren’t they? And isn’t it interesting how it never feels like a burden to spend countless hours and energy thinking about, and looking for, the perfect gift? An Identity That’s From God

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” – Colossians 3:12 As Christians, we need a spiritual identity that comes from God and to act as if it’s true. You will have a number of assignments over the course of your life. The most important thing I want you to do is to cancel those word assignments that do not align with God’s plan for your life. The negative things that others have said about you, including what you have said about yourself, do not have to be true and you don’t have to agree with them. Just cancel it. If people have said you are indignant, offended, or angry, cancel it. If people call you stupid or a drunk or say you’re destined for failure, cancel it!
