Learn How Things Are
“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ “ – John 3:6,7 As we move through our study of blooming where you are planted, the third way to accomplish this is to learn how things are. Don’t consider how they should be or how you want them to be. Avoid using the word “should” as much as possible. You have to learn how things really are. There are many so-called “experts” who aren’t experts at all. Take Nicodemus for example. Jesus is discussing the spiritual life with Nicodemus, a famous teacher in Israel, informing him how to be reborn of the spirit and how the spirit dwells in a person.
