Forgive the Debt

“You have just now told me about the good you did to me; the Lord delivered me into your hands, but you did not kill me. When a man finds his enemy, does he let him get away unharmed? May the Lord reward you well for the way you treated me today.” – 1 Samuel 24:18,19 There is an awareness in life that we are precious to God, but so is our neighbor. God wants us to develop a heart that cherishes people. Yes, there are toxic people who are evil and horrible no matter how much you forgive or love them. We are not told by God to let go of our boundaries or invite evil people in all the time.
