Choose Your Hard, Choose Your Easy

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30 Today I have an addendum to the first obstacle regarding the difficulties of the narrow road: you have to choose your hard and choose your easy. Jesus told us that when you follow Him, the burden you have is light, but it is still a burden, isn’t it? The above scripture says, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” He also mentions we should take up our cross, and follow Him. That sounds like a paradox to me. Which of those is it?
