When the Day Is Done

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” – Deuteronomy 5:21 Do you realize how important the Ten Commandments are to civilization? In the Ten Commandments, there is emphasis placed on what you must not do and what you must do. Their guidance says: Don’t do this, don’t do that, or go do this, go do that! This goes on until you reach the very last one, and it implies, Don’t think this. Only the 10th commandment applies to thoughts. This commandment instructs us not to covet another’s possessions.
