“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” – John 13:34 Jesus provided a powerful example of love when He washed the feet of His disciples. When He was crucified, He was stripped of everything and hung on the cross completely naked. During that time, He endured immense pain and suffering, along with shame as onlookers mocked and ridiculed Him. He accomplished this profound sacrifice for our sake, so that we could be at peace with God, have a place in heaven, and receive forgiveness for our sins. Given this incredible act of love, how much easier should it be for us to let go of our grievances and forgive others, just as He has forgiven us?
