You Don’t Have One Calling
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” – 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 Have you ever noticed that people are continually asking God, “What’s my calling?” It seems everyone wants to know their purpose. I often say this: you don’t have just one calling in God’s kingdom—you have several, and these callings intertwine and build upon each other. David couldn’t have become king of Israel without first being a dedicated shepherd and learning to fight a bear. As you walk through the open doors God provides, you’ll see how He prepares you for each step in your journey. As you commit to your callings, I want to give you an opportunity to get right with God
