If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you. Do not take interest or any profit from them, but fear your God, so that they may continue to live among you. You must not lend them money at interest or sell them food at a profit.

Leviticus 25:35-37

God loves a cheerful giver. No matter how much money you make in life, if you’re not a generous person, you will never feel like you’re succeeding. Even if you make millions and millions of dollars and you buy all the coolest things in the world, but never give any money away, you’ll never feel like you’re truly succeeding. That’s because when you give a little bit of your money, all of your money is blessed.

Thank you, Lord, for your blessings on my life. Help me have to courage to share them with others.

How can you be generous today?
