He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’

Matthew 17:20

When we pray, I believe that in all of us, there is one portion of our heart that doubts, and one portion of our heart that believes. I don’t think there’s any person that believes with their whole entire being when they pray, and I think that’s okay. I know that’s okay, actually. Because Jesus taught us that if you have the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains. I interpret this Scripture to mean this: If a lot of me doubts and just a little part of me believes, God can use the little tiny bit if I give it to Him. Not only can He use it, He will use it. And He’ll grow that little bit of faith into a lot of faith. Faith pleases God.

Prayer

Thank you, Lord, for your power. You can use my little bit of faith to move mountains for your Kingdom, and I am so grateful.

  1. I believe that God will take my little bit of faith to do great things in my life and the life of my children.
