“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” -1 Corinthians 3:6-7

We just celebrated Easter, friends, and it was awesome. It’s the most important day in history! It’s the day that everything changed – God has given us the opportunity to live! The thing I want you to hear more today than anything is this – that because Christ was raised from the dead, that same power is in you. The power that cannot be destroyed. That power that cannot be put to death. It’s called a Pasqual Power. It means that even when death comes to your life, by faith, it just becomes a doorway to something greater. Jesus compares us to a seed; he says unless you take a seed, kill it, and put it in the ground, it remains only a seed. But if you put it in the ground and it dies, it becomes well much more, doesn’t it?

PRAYER: Dear God, thanks for loving me so much that you gave you son for us. So that we may live. Even when death comes into our life, you’re going to do something good.

REFLECTION: Have you seen God take a season of death and turn it into life in your own life?
