“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”

Creation testifies as a daily ongoing miracle of God’s power in this world. It allows you to live a life of awe and wonder.

You don’t have to be rich. You don’t have to be healthy. You don’t have to be perfect in order to experience the wondrous life that God is making available to you today. All you have to do is choose to say yes to what God wants to give you.

In the scripture above, Job is encouraging everybody to know that everything is in God’s hands. What’s really made available to us is a wondrous life and a wondrous world in the person of Jesus Christ. And he wants this life for you, today, so choose this moment to live a wondrous life.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I see you in all of creation. What a wondrous world you have provided. May I allow your creation to fill my life with awe and wonder. Amen.
