“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.’ “
– Luke 2:13,14
![]() In the busyness of the Christmas season, we can cling to the strong arms of God! When we adore Him, it allows us to manage our stress, and experience joy. So, let’s worship and love the Lord! It is essential to make time for special moments with Him. As you focus on Jesus, close your eyes or quietly still yourself. Take time to say in your heart, “Lord, I adore you. I love you. I love your Kingdom. Thank you for Christ, the cross, and the resurrection. I am thankful, Father, for your Holy Spirit and the life it gives. Thank you for the air in my lungs and the blood in my bones. I am grateful for my friends and my family. Thank you Jesus, for this season of Christmas. Father, I am thankful for who you are in my life!” As we shared yesterday, times of adoration should be unhurried. As we turn our hearts to the Lord in times of praise and thanksgiving, take a deep breath, let your shoulders drop, and let your tongue fall from the roof of your mouth. Let your face relax and say, “God, I trust and adore you. Thank you for your joy and friendship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” God is honored when we speak well of Him. Friend, in this intimate moment, there’s joy in adoring the Lord and delighting in His presence. These experiences with God where He is the focal point will nurture and flow into other areas of your life and things will start to improve. I want you to remember that God treasures your time with Him! |
