“But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”
– Psalm 73:28
![]() I have learned over the years that God’s solutions are always better! Today, we begin a series on His solutions and we’ll observe the wisdom of His answers. Have you tried to resolve or accomplish tasks, responsibilities or roles in your own way or the world’s way, and then tried God’s way? God’s solutions are always for your benefit, and God’s methods are better than the world’s resolutions. They just take time. But first, it’s essential that we recognize what the world says about morality and also what many religions say about morality. Both say, “If you follow these rules and regulations properly, we’ll let you into our community.” And, “If you conform exceptionally well, we’ll give you a seat at the table.” But Christianity, in its correct form, doesn’t say that. The God solution says the opposite: “Trust in Jesus just as you are: sinner, broken, messed up, addicted, full of fears and insecurities. Just come to God’s house, sit at the table, and we’ll show you what to do!” Friend, trust that God loves you just as you are, not as you should be. You can build your whole life in response to that good news. The Gospel says, “Because Christ laid down His life for me, I’m justified.” One definition of justified is, “just as if I had never committed any wrongdoing.” The good news is that God is for you. He invites you to come in. I want to ask you today, if you haven’t already, to make a decision to commit your life to Christ. Ask Christ to enter your heart, and your life will never be the same. |
Prayer
Jesus, I trust that You love me just as I am. I invite you to come into my heart today.
Reflection
Where have you tried to do things independently but then decided to test God’s way?

Trust and obey! There’s no other way. Thanks Bobby!
Thank you Bobby for continuing “Hour of Power” Program! When asked, you answered!
My family has watched “Hour of Power” since the first Program aired on television and it has been 50 years of blessings.
We had the privilege of attending Sunday Service in one of your churches in The Netherlands. After the service we thanked the Pastor and explained we were from the “Hour of Power” family in America and he smiled profusely and said if we had told him before the service, he would have performed it in English. He then invited us into their Fellowship Hall for Coffee and cookies. Such a warm welcome and a memory my husband and I will treasure forever.
Keep up the great sermons and we loved your Series from Israel, We continue to pray for your family daily!
