Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

God hates sin, but He loves you. And God wants you to do your best and forget the rest. We don’t need to try harder not to sin so we can approach God, but rather, being connected to the Father is the very thing that helps us be the kind of people we want to be. Not only morally, but in terms of achieving the goals and the things that we want to do, okay?

God, I want to be close to you so that I can thrive in life. Fill me with your gracious and merciful spirit. Help me achieve the things you have called me to do.

How can you do your best and forget the rest?
