“He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” -2 Thessalonians 2:14
Yesterday I talked about how thankfully, we aren’t Jesus. We don’t have to try to be Jesus to our family and friends, but we do need to share the gospel. We need to share that although we the messiah, we do have one, and he is good. [Mark 16:15 says “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’”] But when read in greek it begins as “as you go, proclaim the Gospel.” God will lead you to exactly here he wants to you to go. You don’t have to try harder! As you go, God will lead you to share the Gospel. It doesn’t have to be a burden: God is in control. He is powerful enough to speak to his children. Let him use you, and trust that he will.
PRAYER: Thank you, God, for using me. Help me proclaim the Gospel in the fifteen feet of space around me.
REFLECTION: Think about who you can express extra love to this week.
