Are you facing a challenge and don’t know the answer? You need a word from God. Perhaps you’ve just experienced a terrible tragedy or encountered a difficult situation that you never expected to confront; you need guidance from God. If you’re at an important crossroads in your business, family, or school—facing a big decision—you need a word from God. As a Christian, it’s completely appropriate to ask God for guidance and to ask for a word! One word from God can transform your life forever.

Listening to God can be challenging, but it is something we can learn to do. Today, I’m starting a series on the various ways we can hear from God. There are several methods, and I will discuss different ways mentioned in the Bible, ranging from the least common to the most common. To begin, one of the ways God speaks to people in the Bible is through dreams and visions. I have discovered that in the Bible, when we have dreams and visions, God is no respecter of persons, he shows no favoritism—He speaks to both unsaved leaders and His followers, including Christians and Jews. 

Friend, sometimes, God communicates with His people, even when they are reluctant to hear what He has to say. They may want to hear about healing, new ideas, or affirmations of His love, but there might be something else He is trying to convey, and they are not listening. So, when they go to sleep, God may make His message clear through their dreams. Rest assured, if you ask God for a word, He will give you the ability to hear His voice.
