For many years, I, like so many, was an avid supporter of “Hour of Power”, especially here in Australia.
And I, like so many, was sad when the Crystal Cathedral was lost. But God does not dwell in temples made by human hands (Acts 17:24).
Wonderful to see something still happening here.
Today I am an avid supporter of Joel Osteen, and am part of the worldwide family of believers who are part of the greater Lakewood family.

We, the body of Christ, are the temple of the Holy Ghost: both individually, and corporately. And, He promises to presence Himself, in the midst of His praising people: both individually, and corporately! In fact, the most important verse in the whole Bible for His people is 1Thess5:18:”In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you!” Thanksgiving ushers in the presence of God into our lives, wherever we may be, and thereby ushers us into His holy presence also!

  3. Jim Burrell says:

THANKFULNESS ushers us into the presence of God!
It is not a suggestion, nor is it an exhortation but it is the will of God in Christ Jesus!
And in His presence, is fullness of joy!
Jesus said “Ask, and you will receive, that your joy might be full!”
He said “Ask, Seek, Knock!” It’s an acronym!
    ASK!
But then He unpacked it for us. He said ask, and you will receive, He said seek, and you will find, He said knock, and the door will be opened unto you! No ifs, no but’s! He said seek and you will find! He said ask and you will receive! He said knock, and the at the door will be opened to you! He said when you pray believe you receive! You have to be really thick to get this wrong!
Then He said “You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you; and ordained you, that you should go forth and bear fruit, and that your fruit should be remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name He should give it to you.” (John15:16)
Now, this is a Father’s Day message, with a difference. You know we pray the our Father prayer and how Father is delighted when we come to Him with faith expecting to receive the things we actually ask for….now we have joy in His glory presence and He has joy…we experiencing His presence and He presencing Himself with us… Emanuel: God with us!
    How good is that?

  4. Thank you for this. I love it that God wants to meet with us so that we can find crazy happiness in our current happenings rather than trying to pursue happiness through chasing after different happening or circumstances.
