Believe the Road Is There

“You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.”

– Psalms 18:34,35

Throughout life, we learn that there are many paths to choose from as we navigate our way through this world under the guidance of God. There are many people who right now believe the only thing between them and their dream is a hard road that they have to travel. You can acknowledge that there’s this amazing vision that’s been set aside, especially for you. However, for some unknown reason, you cannot seem to find it. I’m going to get on that road tomorrow, you say. When the economy improves, I’ll jump on board. When I get a raise, I’ll take that path. It is in you, I know you’ve got a plan!

There is an important part of your journey, which is to first see the road and believe that it exists. The good news is that we don’t need to fall into the trap of not believing, as some people do. As a matter of fact, this is probably the trickiest part of all of this — for many of us, we believe that the road is there, we believe that the calling is there, but we have not taken the first step to make sure we are on it.

Friend, isn’t it better to take that road and move into the goodness of God? Why not follow the assigned road and the God-given vision, if you believe it to be true? It’s time to step out because you believe it’s real and you know that there’s an awesome dream waiting for you. Allow the Lord to guide and order your steps as you move forward!

Provide me with guidance and help as I take the road before me, Jesus.

Are you seeing the path for the plan God has given you?
