“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
– 1 Corinthians 12:27
![]() When Paul called us the body of Christ, it wasn’t a metaphor, it was real. He literally meant that we are the body of Christ. Look at your hands. Whose hands are those? Those are your hands but those are also the hands of Christ because Christ is in you. Because of this, your hands are meant to bless, to hold, to embrace, to forgive, to be open, to be generous, to be life-giving. Even in our imperfections, Jesus can still shine through us and use us for ministry. |
Prayer
Thank you, God, for allowing me to be part of your body. Shine through me and use me to affect the people around me with your glory.
Reflection
How can you be the body of Christ?
