“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”
– Ecclesiastes 9:10
When someone is going through a difficult time, the world often offers sympathy. But as God’s representative, you have something even greater to give: prayer! While it’s important to empathize, I’ve learned that praying for people—regardless of their background, beliefs, or religion—can truly touch their hearts. Whenever I ask someone if I can pray with them, I see how much it means to them. If you know someone going through a rough time, don’t hesitate to offer to pray with them. Even if it feels a bit awkward, that’s okay—it often means you’re stepping out in faith. Friend, if stepping out in faith feels a bit uncomfortable, that’s okay—still take the opportunity to pray for someone. Share your faith openly. Invite others to church. Offer help to those in need. Live out the Word! Trust that God will heal when you pray. Avoid prayers lacking faith; instead, pray boldly and full of belief. Strive to become all God created you to be, and do all you can for His kingdom. |
Prayer
Jesus, please help me to share my faith with confidence and compassion, and inspire me to pray for others wholeheartedly.
