“May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests.”

– Psalm 20:5

A banner is a flag that goes into a war. It is the flag that is carried by soldiers that symbolizes all the other wars that have been fought. It shows that even though the soldiers have been through a lot, they’re here and they’re about to do something great. So in both the ancient and modern world, a flag or banner is very important. God wants you to know that He is the banner flying over your life. The scriptures assure us that the flag that is flying over your life is not condemnation, it is not one of bondage, it’s not addiction, it’s certainly not poverty, and it’s not the things that people have said about you. The banner that flies over you is love and this love is going to carry you through to victory.

Thank you, God, for your banner of love over my life.
