“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,”
– 2 Thessalonians 2:16
![]() Everything is possible for you when you do life with Christ! Even if you’re suffering through a terrible situation, difficulty, fire, challenge, or setback, God can turn it around. It doesn’t matter what challenges you face, He can get you through it. He can break any chain or burden in your life, so keep going. There is no sickness He cannot heal. He can and will accomplish everything, but the first step is to follow Him and go where He leads. Here’s someone who walked into the fire but kept going and achieved victory: British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. When World War I ended in 1918, the world was depleted with no desire for another war. However, that mindset quickly changed 20 years later when Hitler had his evil grip on most of Europe. Churchill came to power in 1940 during World War II and inherited a mess. He had no idea whether the war would end, if they would get through it, or what the future held for Britain and the free world. In his first speech to the House of Commons, he said, “I have nothing to offer you but blood, toil, tears and sweat.” Not exactly the message you want to hear from your new prime minister. But with his courage and determination, he never gave in to evil and ended up leading Britain to victory in World War II. Churchill famously declared: “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” Friend, if you’re going through the fire, keep going. If you’re going through a tough time, or you’ve lost someone special, or you’ve lost your health, your vision, or your way, keep going. Give yourself hope by inviting Christ into your life. Victory is waiting for you! |
