The Greatest Power

“But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

– 2 Corinthians 3:16,17

I shared yesterday that I compiled seven Biblical world-changer thoughts you can incorporate to keep your mind healthy, and the first one is to focus on the spiritual world behind the material world. The greatest power comes from the spiritual world! We live in a universe where either everything is exactly as it seems, or there is more than meets the eye. In my opinion, the world around us contains a lot more than what meets the eye. Often, we don’t give much thought to what we see right in front of us.

One night I was sitting on my porch drinking coffee. There was a spider and normally it would be unpleasant and unnerving, but I watched this spider build a beautiful web. It took a while, but it did everything perfectly. Interestingly, Mama spider did not come to the little baby spider and say, “Here’s how we’re going to do it. It’s this way and that way, and make sure you cross this way.” The spider just knew. How did it know? Scientists say it’s instinct, and somehow that settles the matter. That doesn’t settle it for me. Putting a word on something doesn’t mean it’s settled.

Friend, this is what it’s like to see behind the veil into the spiritual realm. In your heart, you know what you’ve experienced, what you believe, and what you feel. It’s not always easy to find the right language to describe it. You know it in your heart, even if it doesn’t always make sense. You have the peace and assurance that God and the power of the spiritual realm is real. You understand the purpose and greatest power that comes from the spiritual realm.

Father, give me insight into the spiritual world as the source of the greatest power.

Can you describe a spiritual realm experience that God has given you?
