“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”

Continuing in verses 25 to 30, God reminds us, and I paraphrase: God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and His weakness is stronger than human strength. Many of you may not feel wise or influential when called, but God chose the foolish and weak to shame the wise and strong, nullifying the things that are, so that no one may boast. It is through Him that we find our wisdom, righteousness, holiness, and redemption in Christ Jesus. Friend, I appreciate this passage because it highlights how being connected to God’s wisdom can make you appear foolish to everyone else. People may ridicule you until you achieve victory. In his letter to the church, Paul acknowledges that some members have made a significant impact, with some becoming famous and others changing the world. However, he emphasizes that all of them—this was particularly important in the Roman Empire—came from humble beginnings. Today, let’s commit to humility as we seek out God’s wisdom together—it can transform our lives! |

Father, help me to seek Your wisdom rather than rely solely on my own intelligence.

Good point Bobby, because we can see this message being fulfilled today! All the inventions of man today, is turning into total foolishness, and this foolishness is destroying the Earth. Most people are blind to this truth, But as it is written, their would be no flesh saved alive, unless God comes back to stop mankind from total annihilation! We have enough atomic bombs to blow ourselves up a hundred times over and over again, yet once is all it takes, and their can be no peace, so watch therefore so we can be counted worthy to be saved. This is to prove a point because people don’t believe? God wrote in stone! God choose people to write on paper? Thanks be to God for giving people a choice to chose, but its up to us to make that choice?
