“In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness…” -Titus 2:7

The greatest thing about you is the way you do these things that are gentle, calm, and peaceful. Everything else is raging, all the waves are crashing, and like the lighthouse in the storm, and you’re empathetic, kind, listening. You do not shove religion down people’s throats.

Just be you and, like a lighthouse, people will be drawn to you as ships are drawn into a harbor. And God will bless you, even in secular positions of authority as he blessed Daniel in the lions’ den.

Be a light, be God’s chosen one, and fulfill your calling. You don’t have to be shy. Boldly have courage to do what is right. And as you do that, the other good people that are near you will have the courage to do good, as well, because you had the courage to take the first step. I’m so proud of you. You’re doing great and continue to let that light shine.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, keep me calm and help me to listen to you and others. Guide me into your safe harbor and I will lead others to your calm shore. Amen.

REFLECTION: How do you show God’s calming love and care to others?

  1. Nice post. I learn something more demanding on different blogs everyday.
It will constantly be provoking to read content from other writers and practice a
little something from their shop. I’d favor to
use some with the content on my blog whether you
do’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link in your web blog.
    Thanks for sharing.
