“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

– Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

Over the past few days, we’ve seen how God helps us overcome the fear of people, desperate circumstances, and even spiritual opposition. Today, let’s talk about one more challenge: the fear of our own dreams. Of all the anxieties that paralyze us, few are as discouraging as feeling stuck or unable to pursue the desires God has placed within us. After repeated failures, setbacks, or rejection, disappointment can set in, making us hesitant to try again.

Maybe you’ve faced heartbreak—multiple miscarriages, business setbacks, or resistance in pursuing ministry—until you’re afraid to hope again. But God wouldn’t give you a dream if He didn’t believe you could fulfill it. Although it may take time, don’t despise the vision He’s entrusted to you. Nurture it patiently, even when progress is slow, or results don’t come quickly. Let past disappointments teach you, and face challenges knowing they will strengthen you for the future.

My friend, don’t back away from the big dreams Jesus has put in your heart! While the enemy will whisper words of fear and tell you it’s too difficult, too painful, too risky, or too costly, your Savior beckons you to grab hold of His promises and boldly believe that you can do all things because He strengthens you. Your calling is powerful, and you alone are equipped to carry out the Kingdom assignment entrusted to you. Be resolved to boldly nurture your God-given desires, water the seeds of your dream, and watch as He uses it to impact others and transform you from the inside out.

Prayer

Jesus, help me not to fear my dreams, but fill me with strength, hope, and power, and make them a reality for the sake of your Kingdom.
