“God will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.”
-Psalm 112:5

In the kingdom of God, you are rich in proportion to how much you give away, not just what you store up or what you earn. True wealth is about giving away. People that are helping others, helping the poor, giving to programs they care about, those are the people that get up every morning and actually feel rich.

In other words, if you want to feel rich, start giving your money away. When you give, whether it’s $10 or a million dollars, it makes you feel wealthy. Because God loves us, he teaches us that when we dream about wealth, to not dream about cars and houses and traveling. Though those things are fine and good, it’s better to dream about giving money away. Dream of generosity and God will see that in your heart, and he will bless you for it.

If you change your dreams from hoarding to helping, from being selfish to being generous, God will see your good heart and he will bless you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, with your love in my heart, help me to dream generously, give generously, and love generously. Amen.
