“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a company of fools suffers harm.”

– Proverbs 13:20

People who are not controlling but are empowering are the best friends. You’re a terrific friend because you don’t try to control your friends. You don’t freak out when they don’t call you back or text you back. You’re letting them go. You want them and you desire a friendship, but you’re no longer your worst enemy by constantly being afraid that everybody is abandoning you or leaving you.

Make me a good friend, Lord. I want to be empowering and not controlling, I want to be secure in my friendships.

What kind of friend are you?
